Across the nation, STD rates are on the rise. While many people have access to health care and can see their own health care provider for these concerns, many do not have that option. To help those who don’t have health care coverage or who are unable to use their coverage, the Free STD Clinic in Council Bluffs will be teaming up with Mills and Montgomery County Public Health to offer services in Glenwood and Red Oak.

Testing for chlamydia, gonorrhea, syphilis and HIV will be provided free of charge to anyone 14 years of age and older and to those who are not currently pregnant. “This is a great opportunity to offer this free testing without the barrier of transportation out of county, said Sheri Bowen, Mills County Public Health Administrator. “We hope that people will find this local service improves their ability to be tested!”

The walk-in clinics will be offered on following dates and times:

February 20th 11am-1pm in Glenwood 2-4pm in Red Oak
