As per Iowa Code 331.302 and 331.305, the Mills County Board of Supervisors will hold a public hearing on the 4th day of June at 9:00 A.M. in the Board of Supervisor’s Meeting Room on the Main Floor of the Mills County Courthouse located at 418 Sharp Street, Glenwood, Mills County, Iowa. The Board of Supervisors will hear comments from the public concerning Ordinance 20-02A amending the Mills County Code of Ordinances to include Chapter 26 Flood Plain Regulations.

The purpose of this ordinance is to update the existing ordinance to continue eligibility in the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP). To meet the standards of paragraph 60.3(d) of NFIP regulations (44 CFR 59, etc.).

You may call into the public hearing or be represented by an agent to make comment and/or be heard by the Mills County Board of Supervisors. Written comments may be submitted to the Mills County Board of Supervisors at the Mills County Auditor’s Office before the hearings close on the above date.
